My sadness has overwhelmed me with your passing. I have known you for over 47 years with 45 shared as man and wife. I was so blessed and lucky the day you chose me to be by your side through life as you were way out of my league and far too good for me though I enjoyed being the envy of the local men folk. You were a truly wonderful Mother to our two children and they are a credit to you as the adults they have grown to be, strong, kind, thoughtful and caring, Your dreams you held for your children are alive well in them. You loved them unquestionably and above all else in your life and they will always worship you. I could not ever have had a better mom to my children, we were so blessed.
You always kept our homes so wonderfully well, they were always beautifully designed and decorated, your meticulous and perceptive “eye” for design and colour. You always maintained them like show homes. This was on a par with your gardening skills and it was a joy to behold your green fingered nurturing and creations. I hope that I bought you happiness in our life together and that you felt loved and cared for particularly when this cruel illness struck you. You have left us so empty and the family have had their hearts broken to have lost such a special, treasured, wonderful and so very loved Mother and Wife
